Beagle 2 found

They found Britain's failed Beagle 2 Mars probe. It landed on the side of a crater and fell in. If it landed one meter north it would of been OK.
Guess martians didn't tow it away for improper parking...

Date: 2006-01-06 04:47 pm (UTC)Oh well, the very fact that it survived entry into the atomosphere makes it a success in my opinion. It takes alot of work to get something even that far. It was an unforseen circumstance that caused the mission to fail, and not a problem with the mission itself.
