They found Britain's failed Beagle 2 Mars probe. It landed on the side of a crater and fell in. If it landed one meter north it would of been OK.
Guess martians didn't tow it away for improper parking...

Oh well, the very fact that it survived entry into the atomosphere makes it a success in my opinion. It takes alot of work to get something even that far. It was an unforseen circumstance that caused the mission to fail, and not a problem with the mission itself.
