Patrick Volkerding, head of Slackware, needs our help!  He's suffering some mystery ailment, and has posted to Slackware-current this message. 

I ask folks to comment on this Slashdot story about it.  Pat also reads Slashdot and is monitoring it.

He should head on down to MeritCare if he's feeling sick. It's on Broadway. Or head up to the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks (45 minutes from Fargo). They have a medical school there.

Rochester isn't far from here, either, so he could get out to he Mayo Clinic if he could get an appointment.

Either way, Fargo probably ain't the best place to combat infectious diseases, especially with the nasty winter that's coming.
