Aw geesh. The first scanner I bought, the 620U from Acer (now Benq), is now supported by Linux and SANE. ARGH! I don't have to buy anything now...

...except cheap memory.

I have a 640U, and it works under linux (apparently)... I also knew that soon after I bought it. Everything in my current system will work on Linux ... well except for the used Ipaq I got recently, but I do not expect it to work on Linux.

Yeah. I bought mine several years ago when there wasn't any support... hell, USB support wasn't as modern as it is now.

Now I just need a 4-color printer, and it's going to be an Epson or a HP...
