Ok, time for the ol' teacher. Coffee please, heavy on the sugar...
The present standard for consumer-grade wireless networking is WiFi, technically 802.11b. They have a sticker on it saying WiFi.
My problem is that they're usually dinky little cards the size of a pack of cigarettes but thinner, and alot of these cards I don't know if there's any support for my Linux PDA, a Sharp Zaurus SL-5500, as well as my Linux firewall. Not Windows, Linux.
So, you're saying there is no standardized system for the parts? Thus, no guarantee that it will work with some machines and not others that have the same use?

Unfortunately, there's no real "THIS WORKS" list.
