  • 14:42:32: HR Giffords condition unknown according to @nprnews now. May not be dead.
  • 15:13:10: I blame Sarah Palin & the Tea Party for the shooting. http://daringfireball.net/linked/2011/01/08/giffords
  • 15:15:22: @haikubirdie I would not be surprised if the gunman (that they caught) was inspired by those to take out the Congress critter.
  • 16:43:04: RT @Lance_Foxx: Okay, there's a YouTube account I found that belongs to the shooter. Video speaks of distrust of government.
  • 17:13:45: Let me be clear here: I think the shooter was influenced by Tea Party tactics, but to the same extent of violent games to kids.
  • 17:14:56: As in he was already angry & various bits of news & propaganda were influencing his decision to take violent action.
  • 17:16:27: It's why I'd love for the Tea Party to think about what they're saying. Sarah Palin? Lost cause. Brain needs to thaw out.
  • 17:20:18: @auroradafox Yeah, I keep changing it away from fox opinion upstairs. Studies showed that it makes people stupider. #getmeoutofhere
  • 20:01:51: Thanks to all who've wished me a happy birthday over the past two days. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
  • 20:47:25: @Dragoneer Um... death may be the wrong word. Can you contact foxamoore on FA about randomonlooker on FA? Just got word on his death.
  • 21:53:12: @tugrik How do we know we got one?
  • 22:13:43: @Dragoneer @lowtax I'd throw the Twilight books at them, followed by http://reasoningwithvampires.tumblr.com/
  • 22:41:59: @tugrik Ok. (damn, didn't win... maybe next year)

I don't know exactly what happened, but the AZ shooter was definitely a nutter.

Also heard about randomonlooker's departure. I didn't know him personally, but it's always sad to see someone go. He sounded like a great guy.

Dragoneer's comment is solid gold.

Adding to Amazingadrian said. This guy had nothing to do at all with Sarah Palin or the Tea Party. He had been obsessed with Gifford since about 2007, well before we knew about Palin and before the Tea Party existed.

He listed his favorite books such as Mein Kampf, The Communist Manifesto, Siddhartha, among other liberal and facist books. He even wanted weed to be the new currency. He was an atheist and was deeply into the occult.

Here's his YouTube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/Classitup10
Apparently his MySpace page had been deleted.

I have also noticed that whenever something like this happens, the liberal media immediately tries to place the blame on conservatives, when every time it has happened, its always been a left wing nut job.
