Your income grows faster with a Democrat, no matter what income you have. (Slate graphic, Princeton University data)

With Republicans only the rich get richer faster.  Everyone else drops down more and more.  In other words, vote Democrat, and EVERYBODY WINS!!!

For some people, the definition of winning is that somebody else has to lose. Liberals care about how much they have; conservatives care about how much of a lead they have. From that perspective it would make sense to give up $100 if its purpose was to prevent someone else who "doesn't deserve it" from getting $500.

First, I'd love to see that data broken down to year-by-year to make sure there are no artifacts.

Second, on a personal note, I refuse to vote Democrat. Ever. Not planning on voting Republican anytime soon either. Both sides want my money and my freedom.

I don't entirely believe this graph. You can easily skew the data to suit your needs. Besides, its the so called "rich" that are the ones that help create jobs in whatever business they have when taxes are lower.

Also, that data can be skewed when you include gov't freebies such as Welfare and Social Security, so it makes it looks like the poor people make more money under Democrats.

If you've noticed, the economy generally grows faster under republicans than democrats.

I'll vote Democrat when they stop putting far-lefty liberals on the ballots. That, and the economy has flourished under both parties in the past. Clinton and Reagan are excellent examples.

I stopped voting for the party years ago. I just want someone smart in office, regardless of which side they're on. ^^

Except when it comes to civil liberties. In that case, if you pick either a democrat or republican you lose.
