(For those late in the game, Madelyn Dunham is Barack Obama's grandmother who died the day before election day, and effectively raised Obama).
Now, my response to this news is to go up to Fred Phelps, restrain him and his family, knock on his head and say "HELLO! YOU OWE TEN MILLION DOLLARS TO ANOTHER FAMILY YOU PROTESTED AGAINST! AREN'T YOU BANKRUPT?!? ANYONE IN THERE?!?"
It makes me want to point that story over to the military family's lawyers and say "You know, I think the federal courts should be made aware of this..." To the Secret Service and to Obama's transition team, I'd say "Hey, this guy's been a threat to you for too long, and he has a judgement against him that from the outset looks like he's ignoring. Can you do something about that?"
