FA: United

Since Otakon is out, I'm pondering one last convention:  FA: United.  This is in New Jersey at their Marriot hotel, so transit by train isn't an issue.  I'll have to take two days off, but it's a month after AC, so I have plenty of time to recover.

Let see now... Hotel, $99/day, so $300 total..
Registration: $30 now.  More later.
Transit via Amtrak:  $184, depending on when I book and what trains I take.

So that's $514 alone.  Ride is about 3 hours from BWI (Baltimore Penn Station is the same price).

Moneywise, I think I can do it, but it'll be very close.

What does everyone else say?

Heard it was a good con last year. I could have gone last year and I certainly regret missing out, it looks like it could be worth attending.

I mean, if your budget allows.
