Yeah, much of these guys remind me of the idiots of alt.usenet.kooks. Can't call 'em morons, because they can't learn. Too bad a small amount of investigation (aka look at their userinfo and LOL) results in multiple bans, and the small satisfaction when their future employers google their names. They're just setting themselves up to be p0wn3d.

I am honestly impressed by how you handled that. Seriously, I can't say I expected this level of sympathy... maybe you furs aren't so bad, and it's idiots who defame furry that are the bad guys. ^^

No, most of us are actually pretty horrible.
And given what LJ gives you in the way of 'tools', the way she handled it was both uncommon and pretty simple.

Guess it saves the face and time of arguing at least. I'd worry more about her ingesting a silo of salt.

Every culture has it's idiots, hon. It's just that some people like to portray the worst of 'em as the best of 'em. So I don't mind questioning people's judgment when they show a firm belief that MTV is the embodiment of culture, that Vanity Fair is journalism at it's finest, and CSI is realistic. But I also don't mind questioning folks mental capacity when they publicly show off their insanely wacked-out fetishes. I reserve the right to be an equal opportunity offender.
