I'm having difficulty solving for r.  Maybe others can do better.  Remember, c is the total circumfrence over a femme (or herm) bustline, while a and b are measurements from the torso.  Previous info:

This looks like a job for a computer program. Seriously. When in doubt, make a computer figure it out.

I agree, if in any way able, use Mathematica. I am not sure that this is solvable analyticly.
