So here we stand, on the threshold of a new year, and what do we see?

We see that the loosing half was right, and half of the winners switching sides.

We see one branch change hands, and another slowly turning it's gaze on a third.

We see delays apon delays, resulting in promises and hidden evil.

We see a Goliath who embraced David, slowly falling another giant in the sandbox.

We see an old document come to bite back.

We see some great ones fall.

We see the tactics of a thief, and the lies he tells... and are reminded they are pitiful in the eyes of the great Lupin the 3rd.

And finally, we see the recovery of a hamster after plowing a ditch with naught but his head.

May we live in interesting times.

1) I believe you're talking about the shift in power of the House of Reps.

6) I believe its either the deaths of some of the more influential member of society, or the resignations of some of our political figures.
