Shiny music...

Okay, first.  I'm in the Windows Vista RC preview program, and got the two builds -- which are fairly good, with parts rebuilt to be faster and more secure.  Infact, Vista's default style is shinier than WinXP.

Very shiny.

Infact, so shiny the music even exhibits this quality.

Music isn't supposed to be shiny!  It's supposed to be damned hellishly good.

Typically, windows bootup music is far better than the OS that its attached to. After hearing it a few times I think "Shut up, windows. You're not good enough for that kind of fanfare."

I've changed my windows startup sound to a toilet flushing a few times. Much more appropriate for windows 9x, the archie bunker of operating systems. Vista's better, but not to the extent that their music implies. ;)
