Ugh.  Trying to kill this cold and get back to normal (whatever the hell that is) and I'm coming up empty.  There's got to be something which just stops mucus production:
  • Claritin/Loratadine seems to be partially effective
  • Any decongestant only makes it drain faster and upset my stomach
Is there anything that just... stops it?  Period?  In the nasal region?

I like psudeophedrin-based sinus meds myself, but thats just because they work ok on me.

Drixoral uses a slightly different decongestant than most out there - it's a pseudoephedrine sulfate, rather than a hydrochloride.

Standard 'Robutussin' is an expectorant, which helps at least clear the stuff out - it thickens it up so you can actually cough and spit, rather than just snork.
