Same Verizon FiOS tech came back... and noticed the line hasn't been buried. Had me call Verizon, who forwarded me to FiOS tech support... who then talked to the tech... and we find out that the trencher tech he knew were comming wasn't because someone in Verizon changed contractors for buried lines, and noone knew!
So the gal in Tech Support's calling around to see what's going on, and how to get the line in the ground. They're supposed to call me back today. Meanwhile, the tech here got the line prepped to go in the ground.
