You know, I've been using a bit of a "how much it's worth to see it" scale, probably invented way before my time, and reinvented thousands of times over (a local TV news personality has it here). It's good, but I got to thinking...
Well, we have Netflix and Blockbuster for subscription rental of movies. Local Blockbuster for on-the-spot rentals. RedBox at various McDonalds (two near me). Each has it's own apparent "value" with several different qualities about each one, including time and cost. Great for weighting if a movie is worth it or not.
So let's try this:

So let's try this:
- FULL FARE NOW -- It's so good, you better see it now!
- FULL FARE LATER -- You can afford to wait until the crowd dies down
- MATINE FARE -- Not too good, but good enough. Save your cash a bit.
- BLOCKBUSTER -- Above average, pick it up at a local store when it comes out.
- NETFLIX -- Average enough that you can rent it online and wait for it in the mail.
- REDBOX -- Below average. You want to rent it for a buck a day -- and return it the next day.
- STEAL A RIP -- If you REALLY want to see how bad it is, save yourself the cash. It's that bad.
- SUE YOUR LIFE BACK -- Don't even see this movie. It's a waste of film, time, and effort. Excuse me while I talk to my lawyer...
- HIRE A MERCENARY -- For those rare instances which require expert cluing in of the producers (Uwe Boll).
