So I now have the Dublin, TX Origional Formula Dr Pepper, and I admit, there seems to be a difference.  This one is "cleaner" and doesn't leave much of an aftertaste.

So the time has come.  Next week, I'm doing the taste test.

Just grabbed a Dr. Pepper from the vending machine. Mmmm, one taste and it immediately reminded me of the times when mom and dad would take us to Blackie's pasture (named after a horse, mind you).

We'd stop by Weinersnitzel (sp?) first, grab a chilidog, and some drinks (which ultimately became a Dr. Pepper, since that went very well with hotdogs at the time), and we'd go out there, walk a half mile, then sit on the bench there and nosh.
