My comic apparently got another link at Something Awful, and it gathered up some responce on stalag99 .  It also highlighted that I didn't set anonymous posting to be moderated (don't want to completely disable it).  This will make it slighly harder for the hordes over there to post (even though I'm logging their IP addresses already) as I belive there's a "Don't you dare ID yourself to them, or you're gone from us" rule over there.

Of course, if you're one of the goons comming from Something Awful and you think you can do better than me, then sign up and prove it.  May I also remind you that you should be listening to Reel Big Fish's A Little Doubt Goes a Long Way.

And now, for something different.  Scott Kutz just hit that sweet spot again in Tuesday's (which got posted today) PvP.  He's being topical (with both large lotteries being past the quarter-billion mark), and mixes a bit of unusual curdosy with the shock of hitting the big one.  It brighted me up.

Actually, you got that dramatically wrong on several counts, explicit and implicit.

Firstly, your assumption that somehow you're the only one here with any experience in working on creative writing is wrong. I actually make a living off my writing, and am published regularly in a monthly magazine published in Taiwan and America, sold worldwide, with subscriptions including universities in several countries. So yeah, I kind of know something about writing. And your writing is certainly not your strong point.

Secondly, I'm no Goon. Yes, I found your awful attempt at creative work through SA, but I wouldn't pay them US$10 just to use a message board, even if it came with a free blowjob. Consider me an independent contractor.

Thirdly, no, I don't quaterback on Monday mornings from an armchair, largely because there aren't quarterbacks in rugby, and we don't have an armchair in my apartment. Plus I actually have formal experience in at least one element of what I'm criticizing.

So yeah, continue to try the superiority thing, but until you a) know what you're talking about, and b) don't fantasize about fucking animals, it's really not going to amount to much.

Your comic still sucks, by the way.
