strredwolfTo the bemusement of the co-writer -- this next story arc starts with an Anime convention on Canmeph 2. A footnote, of course:
If you haven't seen a heavy-set guy cosplay Cowboy Bebop's Faye Valentine, please Google for him -- it's the most absurd thing ever. Unfortunately for those five people (two humans, a WolfSkunk, a Dryger, and their cub) the shock was a bit much, and they were taken to the nearby hospital (Schlock Mama) for treatment. Local police forces also arrested the guy for assult.
While the penalty for assult is jailtime on Sol 3, the penalty on Canmeph 2 is a throughal psychoanalysis and brain reprogramming by a team of SputWolfSkunks, followed by observation via a Bond WolfSkunk. The upshot of this is that the Bond gets to visit Sol 3. The downshot is that the suspect is going to miss the rest of the convention while in rehab.
