strredwolfI now know why Gentoo isn't always good: KDE takes *!)@(# long, measured in furlongs by fortnight, to compile and install.
Already I'm comptemplating ether putting Slack back on the system, or putting Slack back on terry and employing him as a distcc cluster. I'll find out more tomorrow.
