New Windows Rootkit... in porn!
Sep. 28th, 2004 12:19 amWell, as you know, Microsoft's kinda in a panic mode over a Windows library that handles JPG (Jpeg format) files. Turns out the code can be exploited to run code that can make it a zombie.
Oh, you didn't know? Bone up here. The porn you D/L may no longer be safe.
What's worse, the virus is now in the wild.
I'm so glad I'm running Linux.

Date: 2004-09-30 10:14 am (UTC)You can't get a virus in e-mail unless the client is sereously screwed up...
Well... Outlook Express is sereously screwed up.
Oh yeah Microsoft has a media center that plugs into your TV.
With companys like Gateway making wide screen TVs it won't be long untill the MS Media center is intigrated into the TV set.
With a CDC for teleconfrencing.
You know a while back there was a preposal to permit the FBI to hack into peoples PCs and then don't forget Carnivar.
