Ok, what do I have to do this weekend...  Get another few weeks of comic strips in the buffer.  I'm at 0 and I don't want another hiatus.  I just need to draw a few more furs and everything will be simple.  If I'm lucky, I'll be able to send off the rest of the commissions needed to be mailed and work on Xilimyth's commission, inking the rest of that up.

I'd also like to work on KeenSpace a bit.  First order of biz there is getting a list of forum ID's matched to comic ID's.  Second order is to de-spam help@ there, see what I have to adjust to block it (if I can -- the main mail exchanger for 'Space is 'Spot).

Does anyone know what Chinese year it is?  Is it the year of the Dragon?  If not, when will it be?

I don't know where you got the info that it's the year of the Dragon, but last I knew 1/22/2004 started the year of 4702, the year of the Monkey.

And the glorious year of the Rooster is a comin up 2/9/2005.

Next time the Dragon comes around it will be 1/23/2012.

goodluck on getting forum id's to comic id's. In theory you can run a query to match up the author emails to forum emails.

despam help@ X_X , no the MX is keenspace.com . There is a ratio of 700:1 spam to real email. I have a theory for this one. Have it bounce everything that doesn't have the word Keenspace in the topic. Adjusting everything that sends email from help@keenspace.com so it goes [Keenspace [subsystem]: [username]] kinda thing, thereby people clicking reply still do a RE:

I dispute your claim that KeenSpace's Mail eXchanger is Butch, Kisai.

Then that means that DNS is -NOT- updating, because the top of the keenspace.com zone has keenspace.com as the MX. I also disabled wildcard, and it's still not taking it.

Actually, on the forum->comic, here's the plan.

For every comic in /home/space,
grep for the forum URL in public_html/index.html
if there's no forum URL, grep all of public_html
if there's still no forum URL, go to next comic
write out a line pointing comic to extracted ID from forum URL.

From there, we can put it in the DB.
