It's time I kicked these out to the Intarwebs at large. I'm looking for a Bluetooth powered stereo headset. Something that's powerful enough to handle play on transit.
- It must support the A2DP, SCO (usually part of A2DP), and AVRCP Bluetooth standards.
- It must allow me to pair my phone to the headset, as well as a Bluetooth adapter.
- It's got to have some power to it so I can hear it over the train going over a bridge, or a bus -- or halfway-decent noise cancelation.
- The cheaper the better.
There's been a few contenders:
- Motorola HT820: Great pair that I'm very comfortable with, but... the killer is the volume's half that compared with Apple's iPod earbuds.
- Logitech Wireless Headphone for MP3: Good on the volume front, but it's not Bluetooth. It's proprietary, and needs it's own adapter. Oh, and it's only audio out.
Anyone have any recommendations?
