Dec. 16th, 2003 04:38 pmBack down to the so-close-but-so-far house. They're trying to get everything done quickly... but folks are delaying them.
Counters won't be in until Saturday at the latest.
Sinks/range/etc can't go in until then.
Two stairways need to be built off of the front porch. Three door gates also need to be built too (since there's no back deck yet), the front porch also needs poles too. Unfortunately, bro-in-law's work has already given him enough slack last week, so he has to work on other plans and not the house. He may be able to get things ready so he can just nail and screw them to the house this weekend, but right now it's too dark. The only thing that can be done is to clean up a bit and start moving some items so it can be stored down stairs.
That, and research for a possible lawsuit.
