Dec. 15th, 2003 12:32 amMy feline pet, Cricket, was put down today due to liver and kidney problems. Her last week was spent on my bed, curled up under blankets, and not moving even for food or drink, which usually she refused.
My RL family didn't take it well. My sister I think was hardest hit since she was the one to save the feline. Mom also was saddened to loose a cat. Dad was the one who witnessed the euthination. I was far removed and can only observe and report.
I felt that Cricket was going to go down then. She was 12 years old, an elder. It is a loss, yes. But I doubt I had too much of an attachment
