So I'm trying to get Wolfox Radio playing on the PowerMac 7200.  It has 64 megs of RAM in it, running MacOS 9.1.  Wolfox Radio in my home is piped on the firewall (neobast) though a Perl script into my IceCast server there. The firewall reshouts that from neobast:8000/wolfox.mp3 (and /wolfox) to a 16Kbps mono stream on /, so that Live365 can pull from there.

Nasty, yes.  Stay with me.

The 7200 (sandra) likes to play the 16K stream, but not the 56K stream (the /wolfox, /wolfox.mp3 stream) in MacOS.  Quicktime, EazyMP3, nor RealPlayer won't play it.

Any way I can do it, or do I have to slap Slack on it again and get X11 and XMMS working on it?  Or maybe FreeBSD...
