Dec. 29th, 2001 05:18 pmJust got the new "tygris" system, which is a big honkin' AMD Thunderbird 1.6Ghz system... and forgot to get new memory for it. It takes DDR DIMMs, which are 184 pins, different configuration, and runs faster. A 256 Meg stick would cost $75.
It turns out not getting the memory is a good thing: my parents would of overdrafted.
Of course, if you want to contribute financially, go right ahead. Every contribution will get Stalag '99 out faster -- since I probably will have to miss New Years Week too. :P
