Jul. 6th, 2004 11:02 amSo I'm looking at AT&T Wireless' latest GoPhone offerings, which all have a true data cable so I could take the laptop, hook it up to the cell phone, and get online.
Not really. The data cables are all USB (which makes sence, it's four lines v. nine with Serial, and faster). Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have USB nor 32-bit Cardbus (to add USB ports to) capability. DOH!

You know, you could get the pcmcia GSM modem card... it's cardbus though.
