Did you get the feeling this was like a supervillan in a Jame's Bond flick rantinG about hit masterplan before he finishes off Bond?
I wrote Davis a letter when I was a kid. Never responded with even a form letter. It was part of a school project to contact cartoonists... for crying out loud, even Schultz wrote something to the other kids.
I think one of the downsides of Davis' plan is that anyone paying attention to the comics of then to now have really changed. And by that, I mean they're extremely uninteresting. Garfield hasn't been funny in years since it just rehashes the same crap over and over. He's even lazier now... used to engage in little story lines in the past.
