Idle thought.

I was wondering how one could do a "brain pierce" where a thick-guage (on the order of inches) ring would be inserted. This would mean RedWolf would have to do it in one of two ways.
The first way would be remodel the skull so that there would be a hole. This would mean piercing and stretching out the mid-brain neural bridge, reforming the brain membrane through the tunnel, and then forming bone inside of it for strength. Finally, skin would cover the interior of the tunnel, preventing infection, before the ring could even be put in.
The second way would be to make the client a polymorph... however, in Canmephians it's triple locked in the DNA. In rare cases, all but one lock is released by birth, and that can be broken by DNA recoding. All three? Very hard to do at once. Very long to do multiple times. But if done, the liquid shapeshifter can just absorb the thick ring in.
I think I'm glad Red's a Polymorph.
