I'm going to be yelling at my father tomorrow. He gave me a few CD's to copy... but aparently, the librarian had damaged the CD's -- the CD's have a few heavy labels that offset the CD's weight just enough to start violently vibrating inside my drive.

AKA I don't want to damage my drive.

Ick, never use paper labels on CD's. They are worse than copy protection.

Use something like Nero and rip the disc at 1x if you have to, however chances are that if it vibrates heavily in the first place, the disc probably won't be readable at any speed.
