Had fun at work. Got in at 9am for a nine hour shift -- and they (the megaplex) had Daredevil miniposters they needed to get rid of. So, put 'em in one of the theaters for folks to pick up. Oh, and have one. (Luck! Ahead 1 poster)

Three of the crew that helped restock with a food delivery was pulled to set up a movie stand for "The Core" (Look it up at imdb.org). It took them three hours to follow the instructions on building the thing.

A guy ran into it (accident? deliberate? Can't say) and destroyed it in 1 minute with me, two managers, and another crewmember watching. *CRASH!* *RRRIP!*

The poster was ok, but the base was bad. Management said "Toss it." I asked "Can I keep the poster?" "Sure."

Twenty minutes later, after tossing the trash, +1 poster. (LUCK!)

I'm happy.

I could have sworn "the core" was already out... maybe I'm imagining things. Meh.

I've put together displays and stuff at the store I work at, there ARE things that have insanely unintellible text, but usable diagrams... and then there are ones with no depth perception, so you don't know if it's going cap-washer-locknut-object-washer-bolt or cap-washer-object-locknut-washer-bolt, or any varient of that... then there is the really bad drawings where you don't know if part A is on the inside or outside untill you get to page 3 and see it on the other side (this happened with a swingset that I took apart 3 times to reverse the legs.)

I love the "open box, take three pieces out, slide together" ones, and hate the ones that require 4 hours with a screw driver (gave myself blisters x_X) The latter item being an unfinished(literally) wooden patio chair where they only pre-drilled the holes though the parts the screws went through, and not where the screw goes in the other parts.

It is, and we have it in a small theater now -- which is a kicker, since we'll probably only have it for a few more weeks.
