I'm still having a fair bit of trouble deciding what 802.11b cards to get. I mean, I want cheap but working w/Linux, CF and PCMCIA.

So, you're saying there is no standardized system for the parts? Thus, no guarantee that it will work with some machines and not others that have the same use?
