How I deal with seemingly Christian SMS spammers...

"A good parishoner would know his/her commandments. Remember Exodus 20:15, and stop stealing my SMS service."

... People are spamming via SMS now? *boggle*

Well, usually it's via email to the phone, but some folks don't know that there's someone who doesn't like it here. I already have AT&T block the email stuff. The morons who SMS me with junk repeatedly get their phone number publicly posted.

Worked well so far.

Where do you post the phone numbers?
(side note: used to be Christian, then I got over it)

I Twittered this one. Link in the BlogRoll to the right. I may remove the number at a later point if I hear the person has repented his sin in stealing my SMS messages with such drivel.

"When I was a child I spoke as a child I understood as a child I thought as a child; but when I became a man I put away childish things." I Cor. xiii. 11.

It's funny how readers of the Bible don't bother to actually understand it. I outgrew religion over a decade ago. Luckily, I haven't gotten any SMS spam like this. I do get the occasional Jehova's Witness at my door, though.

Ah.

And it's funny to me how most people who claim to understand religion and subsequently abandoned it never even bothered to read the Bible, tried to understand religion or even sought answers to any questions or doubts they had.

Educated five years by nuns. Own 3 different versions of the Bible. Read it an unknown number of times. Uncounted Hail Mary's said in church. Have spent time living with families of almost every religion that follows "the one and only god." Spent two years as a Druid. Has lived with a Buddhist of the Gelugpa school(same one the Dalai Lama follows) for several years.

I find it funny that the Bible is the most shoplifted book.

Okay, sounds like you're not uneducated....you're indecisive. ;P

Not at all. I dropped all semblance of religion and belief some dozen years back and haven't stopped since. I grew up. You'll find many Atheists and Antitheists are thoroughly educated, typically more so than the vast majority of religious folk.
