NOW they introduce a 9" Asus EeePC.

It's 1024x600.  WANT.  Although $600 may be a sticking point.

They should have pushed the 9" in the beginning. All the backlash on the bezel issue could have been avoided.

Very true. Then my main complaint about it being too dinky small would evaporate. Oh well, I'll upgrade, reflash the drive with Xandros4EeePC and let someone else have some fun.
