No longer drinking from the fountain of youth...

I switched over to ABC's coverage... and caught Dick Clark.  He's physically there, but... mentally, he's fading.

My Mikail characer would say "No, he's too far gone.  He may not last this year, he may last for a few years yet.  But his days are numbered; the parts have run out and they're running down.  Had I been there when he had the stroke, we could of saved him... but now, he's on reserve power.  I don't know how long."

Yeah, he didn't look so good. His face looked like someone had taken Spackle to it to fill in all the crevices. Some of us commented he looked like he was being animated like a muppet. Either that, or his face got dipped in a vat of botox.

Look? SOUND! It was zero progress back to his old self... I think he actually backslid.

He actually looked better than the last time I saw him. However, that's been a while.

He had a stroke, didn't he? Give the guy some slack... and put down that noose!

He did. It was on Dec 4th, 2004, so little more than 7 years now. It looks like he needs alot of practice still, but... I don't know. It's like Jack's just outside with a time-piece waiting for it to run out. It's been a while.

At least the party has a known leader that's helping out (Ryan Seacrest), plus plans of a full take-over should Dick retire.
