The Odin. Named after the first person (Diety) To have that particular hairstyle. Is your character missing an eye as well?

No, I'm contemplating using the hairstyle in another character (who does have both eyes in both heads).

Hmmm... a Google on "Odin hair" doesn't turn up much of anything except for the deity...

Forgive me. The explanation is, Odin traded one of his eyes to Mimr, in exchange for wisdom. He grew his hair longer to cover the empty socket. Regardless of wether the style was later Approprated freom Emo Culture, Troa from Gundam wing, or the Gril from The Ring, it started with Odin.
