Nagios: DON'T DO IT!!!

strredwolfI had never encountered such a strange mess of a program as this. Nagios. A systems monitoring program. Has a server component and a web interface. Oh my $DEITY...
First off, forget any SQL logging if you're installing it from any source. It's going to fail for one simple reason: It is not easy to set up. Any configuration you have will be spread over ten files. TEN! You need to have them all viewing, and I'd need to install TightVNC in order to do that from remote. And forget the documentation. It's junk. Rubbish. Totally useless. Configuring it w/o any documentation? Forget it.
I keep thinking it's the Hundai Accident (3 cylendar deisel, 0-60 mph in 19 seconds) of programs. I can't think of anything that bad. I mean, the Linux Kernel is long but you have a decent help system! This... is useless!
