(no subject)

If you didn't see me late Sunday, it was because I was very sick. I got a bad pizza from Dominos (that's a first) Saturday, and it really shut down my digestive track for most of Sunday. Those who want grusome details are urged not to ask.

Anyway, if you're expecting some shipments from me (commissions, laptops, whatnow), they may be delayed. I may go on vacation for Half.com's sake.

For me, that's a given...

Bad Pizza = Dominos. I've NEVER had a good pizza from them.
Now Papa Johns, on the other paw... Nummy! :9

It's a first for me. In my neck of the woods, Papa Johns is *worse* than Dominoes.

But of course, there has been a virus going around the house, and dad got it first.

Interesting...

Must be styles of management and ingredient purchasing. I live in the South, and that's the only place I've had PJs and Dominos. Maybe where you are, they have different suppliers, different quality ingredients...the managers don't whip the employees as hard, etc...

Alot of these places are independently franchized, so management and suppliers will probably differ, and thus taste. The Baltimore Sun rated local-to-city pizza delivery places, and found Domino's to be the best out there in Baltimore, so it is definaly a locallized effect.
