strredwolfXorg's ATI driver doesn't seem to like 1400x1050 resolution screens, but the Vesa driver does. Strange. Once I get a battery I'll be able to do further speed/power related setups.
On the 4150B... it's toast. It and it's components (two drives, two batteries, and a power supply) are going to go on Ebay unless someone wants them and offers me a good price for 'em. Only one battery is quirky, though. Cash gotten goes into paying off the newer laptop quickly.
