Hardware update...

Aquin is doing better now, thank you for asking.  I thought I had some memory issues (the old sticks of 72-pins giving up the ghost).  I'm not sure now.

I'm compiling up Linux 2.6.10 on aquin at this time.  Initially, there was some problems -- GCC would report a Segfault in exactly the same file.  Given that the hardware was donated by a in-state fur, I went in and swapped the memory out with stuff I had.  I also checked the Pentium chip in there, which I had assumed was a P-100Mhz, instead of the 75Mhz the guy said.  Popped off the heatsink, and... lo and behold, it is a 75Mhz Pentium there.  The motherboard was set wrong.  Set the jumper back over, and it's compiling slower, but safely this time.

At least it has PCI slots.

Is that Pentium motherboard in aquin MMX capable? If so I'll toss in a 166 for you when I finally have the means to send you those SCSI drives and that Celeron 300A.

It's not. The max this puppy will go is 100Mhz. It's a NEC Ready 7022. I need to locate any manuals for it.
