In and out...
Sep. 14th, 2008 12:00 amUnder a week until I can upgrade my Mac and give the old one to Mom.
What fun.
Meanwhile, I'm cleaning out room for a final backup, and checking her portable drive for problems. I'll have to find out what Adobe Photoshop Elements is going for on the Mac, but that'll be the most of her problems.
Afterwards, I get to pay down the AmEx. I want to shove at least 500 per paycheck down their throat until I get to only $200 charged on it. I'll use it a bit more often than needed, but keep the carry-over to that 10% so that AmEx makes some money off of me. Some analysts are saying keeping that amount on the card will make it easier to build credit and keeping the lender happy -- which I've seen be confirmed off of the Consumerist. Carry a small balance on the card, and you'll get better service.
Also, by that time I'll get a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and upgrade from this Asus.
