Apr. 20th, 2007 10:14 pmVirginia Tech wisely canceled classes until next Monday, and closed the hall down where most of the killed were.
After heavy consultation with Virgina's police department and much tought, NBC partially released, then pulled, a DVD they received from the killer. It portrayed him as plain nuts.
Now, the nation is on edge. Any report of a gunman shooting in schools or institutions of science (note the NASA Johnson Science Center incident today) is getting immediate press attention. We are hypersensitive to it now, and it will take some time to calm the nerves back down.
So what's next? Well, another two parts of a fur/spandex suit are falling into place. I've commissioned Bladespark for a tail and Hindpaws (from SpandexFurs) for the underlining suit.
Meanwhile, tomorrow I shall celebrate my younger niece's birthday, and then head to Baltimore with dad in tow to see Blue Man Group. That's his belated birthday gift.
