Experts discover new back-door flaw in Diebold voting machines.
The short version is this: If you have access to the machine, you can reflash the voting machine. No password, no locks, nothing. It is unsecured. Just flash and disable.
Diebold's looking into the problem. Maryland's getting independent investigators together to look at the system saftey as a whole.
Temporary solution is to flash the systems the night before an election... but then Maryland's adopting early voting (aka 6-day voting), so the risk is very high over those days.
