Iran. Again.  I swear they want to be nuked.  Kicking out the IAEA inspectors, teasing at everybody, not taking up any "out" Russia or China may give them.

Now, granted they only have 160-odd cyclotrons making power reactor grade Uranium.  From news reports, they'll need several times more cyclotrons to make weapons grade.  Given that such things aren't easy to build, we have a few years still.

Also, I hear that internal politics in Iran are building up, so much so that there may be a new Islamic revolution within those years -- one that breaks the "religion is government" link.

We're early in the game, people.  I think we have enough time to:
  • Finish work in Iraq and Aftganistan, if our administration stops screwing up.  There's some steps taking place about that.
  • Change administrations in 2008.
  • Build a proper UN coalition, with French, Russia, and China behind us, for a proper invasion.
  • Build more MOABs, so we won't have to use the nukes until it's the last resort.
I really doubt we'll use the nukular ICBMs.  I doubt the world wants to with theirs.  I belive there's an insurgency building, so nuking Iran is going to bring alot of colateral damage.  Plus, they're in oil country!  We can't have radioactive crude, can we? :)

Now, I wonder about converting those ICBMs to power plants...
