(no subject)

Did the weekly Gentoo updates yesterday, and realize I need to read the changelog on any Nvidia driver updates before restarting Xorg.  It turns out that Nvidia killed a few options I had turned on so I could "abuse" my monitors.  Damnit.  I like 1920x1440.  No affordable LCD monitor has it.  The closest is 1920x1200, and that costs a thousand US from NewEgg!  Maybe I'll get it if I win the lottery, and add a smaller LCD next to it.  But then, I'd get a brand new rig to boot.

Anyway, disable the old, put in a new, and I'm back up to 1920x1440 on the main monitor.  The second one I wish I could do 1152 wide, but I'm stuck with 1024x768.
