Bleh... what fun today.

I'm going to have to rethink how I'm going to put all these components into the Mac SE.  I can't get the mobo in w/o cutting some metal out of the way, and my current CD drive I have isn't slot fed.  Ugh.  May have to build something using thin plywood to butt up against the Mac interior.  Probably have to do some extentions to the various ports -- Ethernet, Keyboard, Mouse, Video, all three Sound, and USB at least.

At least I found out I was unintentionally shorting the board.   It's working better now!

Okay, time to recap what I bought over the past few weeks:

• Two Mac ADB cables, which can double as S-Video cables.
• A pack of Double Density floppies. (The two allowed me to gut a Mac SE I bought earlier after ripping the ROM out.)
  
• A dongle for a 3com Etherlink III card I had around.  sandra now uses said card instead of an X-Jack card
  
• A copy of Serenity
• A 810 meg laptop HD to replace the one in the broken Toshiba.
• A replacement AC Adapter for redwolf.
• A DVI to VGA Analog adapter.  Going dual headed! (does this mean I need to make sandra the main rig and tygris the P2 laptop?)

Oui.  Insanity.
