Nov. 23rd, 2005 12:45 amWhat a week this is going to turn out to be.
First, bro-in-law's father got a bad reaction to a flu shot -- something which looks like his side of the family is prone to, so everyone's hoping he pulls through. He's out of the hospital now and at home resting, but he can't take care of the grandkids (my 2 neices and a baby nephew). So mom and I are going down again to take care of 'em.
It also means more remote-remote work for me, if I can squeeze it in between bro-in-law's request for help. Thankfully he's slowing down himself, as he seems to be comming down with something.
Of course, we've been invited to be with relatives on Thanksgiving. At least we don't have to be there until 4pm, so I can get things together and whatnot.
At least my USB FlexLight came in. That way, I can see the keyboard w/o disturbing my nephew while he sleeps in my arms and the lights are down and dark in "the cave" (bro-in-law's office).
