Stupid, but good OR I'm all charged up!
Apr. 24th, 2005 10:12 pmWhat a day. Usually, bro-in-law taps the family on the weekends to help with the house. It's 2/3rds done from the standpoint in which the first and second floors are done, and the basement needs to be built out. Right now, a water closet (for water pump and softening) is there, accessed via a guest room; a sump pump is accessible via a closet where currently DVD's and tapes are. Once the "movie theater room" is done, as well as the "projection" room, the videos will move into the projection room. (I hope to convince him to put a lowvolt pannel because I know he'll need to run Ethernet. Video's digital now, folks. Back up your DVD's.)
Yesterday, we got some supplies -- but forgot to get supplies used to apply the supplies. This is also known as a metal stand tray for use of the latex watersealer for the basement. It took a while, but being alergy season... bro-in-law's taking it eazy... which what happened today, sorta.
Today, parents had to run over to drop some apolstery samples off. Unfortunately, the place opens at 12 noon, and we left around 10:30. We basically had to waste some time, and one chore that could of helped with that was delayed... and Dad needed coffee. Best place was a local gas station... which had this:
That's no battery. That's Jolt's new can design. No cola version, and no orange, but the blueberry isn't offensive -- almost like Kool-aid with a caffene kick. Sip slowly and spread out the joy.
A little later, the samples were dropped off, my chore done, and we're on our way down. Bro-in-law had finished one coat, and it takes 3 hours to dry -- and the paint fumes. The paint fumes!!!! He was fried. I pulled some wood out of the way so he could move things around and surfaced for air. After some futzing around, alot of it spent waiting for people, things were well on their way. Bro-in-law wanted to get his mind together, but it was shut down. Went back home just in time to see...
