Thinking about Gentoo
Nov. 22nd, 2004 11:16 pmI am now thinking about switching to Gentoo since Slack isn't going to be updated any time soon. This means doing a partial phoenix of the HD.
Anyone know if Kernel 2.6.9 is worthwhile? I'm not very sure about it and am sticking with 2.6.8.1. Given a recent SMBFS vunerability, I hope 2.6.10 is better.
